Stand-alone CMS server
Most customers will choose to use the CMS services offered by NetCASE. This way you do not have to worry about infrastructure and Player network management and you will always be using the most up-to-date software. We do however also offer a version of our CMS that runs on hardware of your choosing. The only limitation is that we only support a Linux based server.
Functionally, there is no difference, but the responsibility of managing the CMS and each individual Player lies with you, the customer. The advantage is that you do not need to be connected to the internet since all Players and the CMS server are connected to your LAN/WAN. There also is no ongoing maintenance fee, so depending on your circumstances this solution might better for you.
